Retail Trends - Stay Ahead Of the Curve
A recent project in the retail sector highlighted how important it is to anticipate market trends, not just react to them.
We were asked to generate some ideas to be used in a company thought piece on the future of retail shopping, for a client in the financial sector. We monitored and analysed trends across a cross-section of pureplay online, bricks and mortar and omni-channel retailers. We also looked at different retail sectors and drew inspiration internationally, providing a taste of varying retail formats and service industry lifecycles. And we looked at consumer behaviour to predict the next move.
The result was a thought provoking piece which stimulated debate and told a story in pictures, not just in facts and figures. Exactly what was required.
